MAKING PEACE WITH FOOD
When was the last time you ate a meal feeling peaceful in your body and in your thoughts?
Have you been playing the dieting game for years?
Whether you are dealing with extra weight or not, do you wish you could feel more content with where you are?
Together, we will explore concrete ways to shift core beliefs and behaviors towards ones that are more nourishing and that facilitate not just weight loss for weight loss sake, but a deeper more permanent shift in how we see ourselves.
FINDING STRENGTH: TOOLS AND RESOURCES FOR HARD TIMES
Now, more than ever, we need to support our bodies and hearts so that we can be available to serve our communities and families. These times call for folx/folks who are radically honest and willing to show up to what is in need of attention, both within us and around us.
Please join us for a light sampling of tools and resources to help us show up. Participants will be introduced to tapping (an energy based practice), meditation, and breath work. If time allows, we will explore ways to use writing/drawing/movement for supporting our work.
